Actor Cody Longo, known for his roles as Nicky Russo in the teen drama series “Make It Or Break It,” passed away in February of this year.

Almost four months later, the official cause of his death has been revealed, as reported by several media outlets, including the Daily Mail.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, Cody’s autopsy revealed that he died as a result of alcohol abuse. The report states that the cause of his death was “chronic ethanol abuse.

In addition, according to the report, decomposition had already begun when the body was found, and empty alcohol bottles were scattered in the room where he was found.

On February 8, at the request of his wife Stephanie, the police in Austin, Texas, discovered Cody’s body when they conducted a welfare investigation.

On Father’s Day, Stephanie paid tribute to him on her Instagram story, showing a photo of him with his three children, Lila (7), Elijah (5), and Noah (2). ‘We are celebrating Cody in heaven. Thank you for the beautiful moments we created and the beautiful babies,” he wrote.

At the time of his death, a family member told TMZ that Cody had been battling alcoholism for years and had recently attended rehab. Stephanie told TMZ, “He was a wonderful father and the best husband. Our whole world is shattered,” she said.

Cody has also appeared in two episodes of “CSI: NY” so far. His longest-running role was in the family drama series “Hollywood Heights,” which had its first and final episode in 2012. He played the role of Eddie Duran on the show, which he starred in with Brittany Underwood and Melissa Ordway, and appeared in 78 of the show’s 80 episodes.
