Armie filed his final disclosure statement on June 14 local time; the two were preparing to reconcile, but sources say that Armie and Elizabeth have already put an end to their relationship.

Elizabeth and Army married in 2010 and had two children together, but on July 10, 2020, Elizabeth filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences.” However, it was later revealed that the “differences” were the allegations of sexual abuse that were ultimately made against Armie. A woman named Effie came forward and claimed that Armie had violently raped her during their affair, and the Los Angeles Police Department investigated. Ultimately, the district attorney decided that there was “insufficient evidence” to charge Hammer and declined to prosecute.

Armie’s lawyer had previously told Page Six that “my client (Armie) maintains that all interactions (with Effie), and with all of his other sexual partners for that matter, were fully consensual, discussed and agreed upon in advance, and in which they participated with each other.”

Prior to filing for divorce, Elizabeth took her two children with Armie to the Cayman Islands during the outbreak of the new coronavirus pandemic and has lived there ever since. Armie eventually returned to his home island, where he was seen working as a sales clerk, but after a lengthy treatment program, he appears to have returned to Los Angeles.
