Avril Lavigne’s ex-fiancee, Mod Sun, released a heartbreak song just one day after the news of Avril’s breakup with Tyga broke out.

Mod Sun posted a single video on Instagram. The song is called “Strangers,” and in the video he sings, “I started talking to you on the Internet / From stranger to lover and back to stranger.”

In this video, Mod-San is walking down a street in Paris, which is the same city where he proposed to Avril in March 2022.
Speaking of Mod-San and Avril, they collaborated on the song “Flames,” which was released in January 2021, and they also performed together in a music video. This was the beginning of their relationship, and they announced their engagement last April.
However, in February of this year, Avril ended her engagement to Mod Sun. A few days before their breakup, Avril was seen having dinner with Tyga, a rapper she would later go out with.
It is unclear what caused Mod Sun and Avril’s breakup, but TMZ reports that Avril’s “affair” had nothing to do with their decision to part ways.
At the time, Mod Sun’s representative told Page Six that Avril was in the middle of her “God Save the Teen” tour when she decided to end the engagement. It was a bit of a sleeper for Mod Sun, who said, “As of three days before he [Mod Sun] left for the tour, we were still engaged. If anything had changed from that, it would be news to him,” he stated.
Speaking of Avril, she and Tyga officially started dating in March after her breakup with Mod Sun. However, they reportedly broke up after only four months.
