Popular reality star and businesswoman Kim Kardashian tweeted from the set of her popular drama series “American Horror Story,” and many people have condemned her.
Kim updated her Twitter page on Friday, June 23. I’m on the set of AHS (American Horror Story) and have a little time between takes. What are you guys doing? he wrote.
Hi guys!
I’m on set of AHS and we have some time between shots. What are you all up to????— Kim Kardashian (@KimKardashian) June 23, 2023
But one comedy writer responded, “I’m on strike in support of (my) union,” while another added, “I’ve been reading about the WGA strike,” which began in May. As someone who is currently on a scripted show, I should be in solidarity with the WGA.” Without the writers, we wouldn’t even have shows on the set,” another tweet read. Others have also flooded in with condemnations of Kim.
Striking in support of my union.

In May, some 11,500 screenwriters launched a protest. This WGA (Writers Guild of America) strike takes place when the writers’ union and its alliance of producers fail to reach a new collective bargaining agreement and the writers decide to stop work until their demands are met. …Strike. The union is demanding higher minimum wages, more writers per show, and shorter exclusive contracts, all conditions it says have been eroding amid a streaming content boom.
Many Hollywood actors participated in the strike, including Cynthia Nixon, best known for her role as Miranda on the popular drama series “Sex and the City.”
Kim, who announced her “American Horror Story” appearance in April, has yet to react to the backlash.
