Madonna was reportedly found unconscious at her home in New York, U.S., and was rushed to the intensive care unit (ICU). She is reportedly still battling the illness despite being discharged from the hospital.
Sources told TMZ on June 29 that Madonna is battling “uncontrollable vomiting.
She is said to be bedridden at her New York home. Sources also claim that she first began vomiting on Saturday, June 24, when symptoms began to appear and she “collapsed” at that time.
It was also speculated that her poor health may have been related to her rigorous practice schedule for the “Celebration Tour. Sources told Page Six that Madonna had been in “intense rehearsals” for weeks, working 12-hour days in preparation.
However, TMZ reported earlier Thursday that Madonna had been showing signs of illness for some time and had been battling a fever for a month. Furthermore, Madonna reportedly ignored the symptoms and did not see a doctor because she was focused on her tour, which opens on July 15.
Madonna was scheduled to begin her highly anticipated “Celebration Tour” on July 15, performing 53 shows in North America and Europe, but it has been postponed due to this health crisis.
