Actress Emily Blunt recently appeared on the podcast “Table for Two with Bruce Bozzi” to discuss her decision to take a year off from acting and to spend time with her husband, actor John Krasinski.

Speaking about taking a year off from acting, Emily said, “This year, well, I’m not working. Last year I was pretty busy, but this year is my last year as a single-digit age, as my oldest is turning 9. When children are young, there are so many things that form the basis of their day to day life. I consider that very important. ‘Will you wake me up?’ ‘Will you take me to school? “Will you pick me up? Will you stay with me until I fall asleep? I want to be there for them. I wanted to be there for them and watch it all happen. I had a gut feeling,” she said, revealing that she chose to take a leave of absence for the sake of her young children.

Emily also said that she spends most of her time with her husband in the morning. “I wasn’t keen on it, but the kids and my husband wanted a dog,” she said. But it’s not hard to get up early for a puppy. I get to talk to John before the kids get up and start rushing around. We can talk about each other and all kinds of things.
