Is this another step toward a Hollywood comeback? Page Six reports that Princess Meghan is preparing to open her Instagram page to the public.

Princess Meghan (Meghan Markle), who celebrated her 42nd birthday on Friday, August 4, has the user name “@meghan” and although she has yet to post a single article, she has already reached 30,000 followers.
According to Page Six, Princess Meghan is believed to have acquired her Instagram account just before she launched her Spotify podcast show “Archetypes” (now closed) in August 2022. A source told the site, “Meghan was going to live-stream on Instagram, but she changed her mind just before launching the podcast ‘Archetypes,’ and now it’s just there.
In an interview with The Cut magazine last August, Meghan revealed that she had an idea to return to social media, telling the reporter, “Want to know a secret? I’m going back…. I’m going back to Instagram,” she told the reporter.
Before her relationship with Prince Harry, Meghan was known as an actress on the popular foreign drama “Suits,” and she frequently updated her Instagram at the time. She also ran a travel and lifestyle blog called “The Tig,” which she stopped when she married Prince Harry.
Later, after becoming a member of the royal family, Princess Meghan joined “@KensingtonRoyal,” an Instagram shared with Prince Harry, Prince William, and Crown Princess Catherine. In April 2019, a month before the birth of her son Archie, she opened an Instagram account named “@sussexroyal” (closed after leaving the royal family), which gained a million followers within six hours of its launch.
This spring, Meghan signed a contract with WME, a major Hollywood agency, and is reportedly in negotiations with several brands for her future activities, especially with Cartier, a French luxury jewelry brand, but Cartier is not willing to sign any contract with the British royal family as it would offend them. However, Cartier is said to be afraid that any deal might offend the British royal family.
It may not be long before Meghan returns to Hollywood.
