Beyonce’s performance was delayed due to rain, and many fans were unable to return home. Beyonce moved the public transportation for those fans.
Beyonce’s concert was pushed back two hours due to thunderstorms.
Beyonce is currently touring in the U.S. with her hit album “Renaissance. The concert venue is a stadium, so there is no roof. Before the concert in Washington, D.C., the venue, FedEx Field, issued an evacuation notice on Twitter (X) due to thunderstorms.
Although the thunderstorms later subsided, Beyonce’s performance was delayed by about two hours amid pouring rain.
When a show is held two hours late, the problem is the return train. Those who came by car could drive to the venue, but those who came by train would be in a life-and-death situation if they missed the last train.
But then, Beyonce stood up. According to ABC7, Beyonce paid $100,000 to keep the train running and 98 stations open so that fans could return home safely. And the rest of the money paid to extend the last train for an hour this time will be used to pay for Metro’s operating expenses.
It was indeed Beyonce who was able to move even public transportation for her fans.
