At least six more people have filed complaints against Lizzo.

Attorneys representing three of Lizzo’s former dancers, who filed a lawsuit over claims of weight-shaming and sexual harassment in the workplace, claimed that at least six more people have since filed complaints against Lizzo.

Last week, Lizzo was sued for sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment. In the suit, the dancers allege that during a February 2023 tour stop in Amsterdam, Lizzo took them to a sex show and pressured them to interact with sex performers.

However, Lizzo released a statement saying, “The past few days have been gut-wrenchingly painful and overwhelmingly disappointing. My work ethic, morals, and respect have been questioned. My character has been criticized. Normally I would not respond to false allegations, but these allegations are unbelievable and so outrageous,” she said.

I am very open about my sexuality and expressing myself, but I cannot accept people using that openness to paint me as something I am not. And I can’t allow it. I know what it feels like to be body-shamed on a daily basis, and I would never criticize or fire an employee because of her weight,” she said, flatly denying the dancers’ accusations.
