Quavo performed in the memorial section of the Grammy Awards ceremony to honor Takeoff, who passed away in November. Before his performance, he reportedly had a fight with Offset….
Migos, with whom he had a disagreement.
Migos, which has had hits with “Bad and Boujee” and “Deadz” and has been nominated for two Grammy Awards, was a three-piece group consisting of Offset, Quavo, and Takeoff, but Quavo and Takeoff, who are related as uncle (Uncle) and nephew (Nephew) formed a unit called Unc & Phew and unfollowed Offset on Instagram, which led to a disagreement.
The disagreement suddenly surfaced in the trio of relatives who had been close friends. After that, they withdrew from a festival they were scheduled to perform at as Migos, and rumors of their breakup persisted.
However, in November, Takeoff was shot to death. Takeoff and Quavo were playing a betting game at a bowling alley where gangs gathered, when they were caught in the crossfire and killed.
After Takeoff’s death, his wife, Cardi B., confessed that Offset was in despair. Offset mourned Takeoff by changing his Instagram icon to Takeoff’s face.
Offset seemed to regret the loss of Takeoff while there was a disagreement, as he still uploads Takeoff’s image on Instagram every now and then. It was thought that the incident would be the beginning of a reunion between the remaining Quavo and Offset, but no progress was reported on that matter.
Battle erupts at the Grammy Awards ceremony
The Grammy Awards ceremony has an “In Memorie” section each year to honor those who have contributed to the development of the music industry who passed away that year, and it was decided that Quavo would perform for Takeoff at the 2023 ceremony.
Quavo had released a song called “Without You” for Takeoff and performed with the choir, but TMZ reported that Quavo and Offset had actually fought backstage before the performance.
It all started when the Grammy Awards asked Offset to perform at Take Off’s memorial performance. Initially, Quavo was scheduled to perform alone, and Offset refused to participate. This is said to have led to a tug-of-war.
However, Offset denied having fought with Quavo in a roundabout way by tweeting the day after the Grammy Awards ceremony, “It’s crazy that you seem to be fighting with Brother.
What tf look like fighting my brother yal niggas is crazy

Video leaked of Cardi B yelling backstage.
Just when it was thought that the backstage fight between Quavo and Offset was a false alarm, a video obtained by EntertainmentTonight contained a notable voice. It said, “Both of you are bad. You can’t do this; you’re both wrong. Bitch shut up. You shouldn’t have opened your mouth in the first place. When asked by a reporter about the yelling, Cardi said, “The only thing I solved was my costume, honey,” which was supposedly directed at Quavo and Offset, who were having a fight.
The truth of the dispute between Quavo and Offset is not clear, partly because it happened backstage. If the story of Quavo and Offset’s tussle is true, it seems that their feud is quite deep.
