Billy Porter, known for his “POSE” series, once again criticized Harry Styles’ “VOGUE” cover.
Billy mentioned that in October 2021, Harry Styles was on the cover of “Vogue” for the December 2020 issue.
Harry’s genderless fashion on the cover of “Vogue” was a historical record, as it was the first time in 127 years that a man had appeared on the cover of the magazine. However, Billy criticized Vogue for choosing a white, straight man. Billy mentioned Harry’s cover again in an interview with The Telegraph published last Friday.
Billy, who is openly gay, said, “It’s not Harry Styles’ fault that he happens to be white, cute, straight, and conforms to that kind of infrastructure.”
