Megan Fox, who says she has carried the “sins” of men, is releasing “Pretty Boys are Poisonous,” a collection of poems inspired by her experiences.
Debut poetry collection of over 70 poems filled with dark humor.
Actress Megan Fox, known for her role in the movie “Transformers,” will release her first book of poetry, “Pretty Boys are Poisonous,” in November. According to the publisher, in this book, Megan describes “all the ways she tries to fit in with the people she loves to the point of losing herself in over 70 poems,” along with “dark humor,” according to the publisher.
Megan herself said of the book, “I wrote these poems to rid myself of a sickness that had taken root within me because of my silence. All my life I have spent keeping men’s secrets. I carry a burden so heavy that my body aches with the weight of their sins,” he said, “My freedom lives within the pages of this book of poetry. I hope that my words will be an inspiration for others to speak up and reclaim their happiness and identity, giving light to what is buried in darkness but not forgotten,” he added.
Megan Fox, who has been divorced once
Megan married actor Brian Austin Green in 2010 and had three children; after filing for divorce in 2015, they restored their relationship and called off the divorce, but filed again in 2020 and it was finalized the following year. She then became engaged to musician Machine Gun Kelly, and although they were paparazzi caught coming out of couples therapy in 2023 after a reported breakup crisis, the relationship is still ongoing.
Meghan posted cover art for her poetry book on her Instagram with the caption, “I wrote a book.” Emily Ratajkowski, Lily James, Lucy Hale, and others liked it! and her fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly, wrote in the comments section, “So proud of you,” along with a flame emoji.
Megan’s first book of poetry, Pretty Boys are Poisonous, is scheduled for release on November 7 US time.
