On September 7, 1996, 2Pac was shot in Las Vegas and died six days later at the age of 25.

Homicide detectives there have gathered enough evidence regarding the suspect, Keefe D., leader of the gang team Compton Clip.

Two people involved in the case told The US Sun that the chiefs of the case, with the support of the district attorney, have found sufficient evidence regarding the charges against Keefe, and that the district attorney will present the findings to a grand jury in Las Vegas.

One of the officials suggested that the announcement could jump-start the case toward a resolution. The prosecutor is considering first-degree murder charges against Keefe based on Nevada law.

Keefe has given several interviews to date and confessed to plotting the 2Pac shooting in his autobiography book, Compton Street Legends. He stated that he and his cousin, Orlando Anderson, were in the car at the time of the incident and that he himself handed the gun to Orlando. If Keefe is convicted, the case will finally move forward, officials said.

The homicide team did not begin this investigation lightly. We were aware that the world was watching to see if we would take action against Keefe. We never want to make a mistake.” “Our goal was to find strong evidence. The file of evidence confirming that Keefe was one of the four people in the car was crucial to the actual murder and the definitive destruction of evidence.

Keefe’s own words and comments in interviews and in his autobiography clearly indicated that he was a possible suspect in the murders, but what he will present to the grand jury this time is far greater than anything so simple. Keefe was so complacent about this that he got himself involved in this huge court battle.
