Popular actor Chris Evans, 42, known for his role as Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, explained why he does not consider himself a movie star.
In an interview with GQ magazine, Chris commented, “Sometimes I meet some people and I think, ‘That’s a movie star.
As for not thinking of himself as a movie star, he said, “I love acting,” “but it’s not like I can’t live without it.
He also hinted that he would like to refrain from taking on major roles. I don’t want to waste too much time in this industry,” he said, “I don’t want to take up too much space in an industry I’ve already poured 20 years into.” He added that he would “walk away from the lead role every time if I could,” and would offer the role to another actor.
When someone like Robert Downey Jr. walks into a room, he commands the oxygen. He’s fascinating in every sense of the word. Let’s give him the lead role,” he said, using Robert, with whom he co-starred in the Marvel movie, as an example.

Chris added that he “struggled” with his responsibilities as an actor after filming was over. Some people are born to be actors,” he continued, “and I’m not trying to fit into that box.
Chris then talked about the movie he always wanted to do, “I’ve been looking for a Christmas movie my whole career,” he said.
In another part of the interview, Chris talked about why he initially passed on the role of Captain America and whether he has a future in the role. He also made a rare comment about his wife, Alba Baptista, whom he reportedly married earlier this month.
