Johnny Depp has filed a defamation lawsuit against Amber Heard, his ex-wife, seeking damages from Amber over her contribution to a story published by the Washington Post.

The trial began on April 11 local time in Fairfax, VA, U.S. On April 26, the ninth day of the trial, Johnny was seen sitting in court painting a picture.

When one TikTok user tagged the video “#TeamJohnny” and published it, it has received more than 7.7 million views to date.

The video that went viral shows Johnny showing an impromptu sketch of a courtroom to Benjamin Chew, a lawyer sitting next to him.

He takes out his glasses and looks at it, nodding and putting his hand on his chest as he seems to admire the work. Johnny then smiled broadly and said something to him. It is unclear what Johnny drew, but in the video it appears to be a woman’s face.

According to the “New York Post,” the exchange between the two was recorded by Tara Roberts, a property manager on the island owned by Johnny. The video call took place while they were waiting for Ms. Roberts to appear on the video call as a witness.

Johnny was also caught on camera painting in court the following day, April 27. On that day, while waiting for the jurors to arrive, he painted the drafted drawing in pink and purple.

On the day of the trial, Johnny was seen holding a black notebook with the words “Built to Last” and a picture of a person wearing a crown pasted on the cover with paper cutouts.

People watching the trial on the Internet spotted Johnny drawing in the notebook during a break and commented on social networking sites that it was a heartwarming sight.

Johnny was also photographed piling up colorful gummy bears and jelly beans on the courtroom desk over the past two days. In the video footage of the courtroom, Johnny is also seen handing something that looks like candy to a man.

Also, when Johnny arrived at the courthouse, Bob Marley’s song “Exodus” was playing loudly from the speakers of the car carrying him.

The song was recorded by Bob after an assassination attempt in Jamaica in 1976 and his exile to London. The lyrics combine the biblical story of Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt with the hope that Rastafarians will be led to freedom.

After getting out of the car, Johnny mumbled to the person who shot the video, “I’m going back to my little room again.
