Johnny Depp, 58, sued his ex-wife, Amber Heard, 36, for defamation in 2018 for a contribution in which she spelled herself out as a domestic violence victim. That trial was held on April 19, 2022 (local time) in a Fairfax, Virginia courtroom.
He called Vanessa a “French crazy woman” and said she brainwashed his children.
One of the issues of the day was Johnny’s alcoholism and drug use. When Amber’s side released video and audio evidence claiming that Johnny was an alcoholic and drug addict, Johnny, who took the stand, countered that Amber was the drug user.
