Johnny Depp reacts to Johnny Depp’s “impersonation” by a lawyer
In the trial in which Johnny Depp, an actor known for his “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie series, sued his ex-wife, Amber Heard, for defamation, Amber’s lawyer mimicked Johnny’s tone of voice, to which Johnny couldn’t help reacting.
Johnny’s constant slouching and refusal to look at Amber when she was on the stand became a topic of discussion. Johnny was in the courtroom. Johnny claimed that he refused to make eye contact with Amber in court because he “promised” her that “you would never look me in the eye again” when they met in San Francisco in July 2016, after she filed for divorce. The day before the trial, Johnny’s lawyer played the actual audio.
At the trial on May 17, Amber’s lawyer questioned her about the reason. At that time, there was a moment when she intentionally lowered her voice only when she said, “You’ll never look me in the eye again,” as if she was aware of Johnny. Johnny’s reaction to the “sudden imitation” was to look down as usual, but he laughed while shaking his body a little. Here is a video of that moment.

eye contact, and she claimed that Johnny’s refusal to make eye contact with her was because he “feels guilty. ‘He knows he is lying. Otherwise, why can’t he look at me? I have survived that man, and I am here, and I can see him,” he stated.
As we have reported daily, Johnny is seeking $50 million in damages, claiming that Amber’s accusation of domestic violence by him in a 2018 op-ed in the Washington Post, in which she did not name him but identified him as Johnny, is defamatory Amber, on the other hand, is also seeking $50 million in damages. Amber, on the other hand, countersued for $100 million, claiming that she was severely affected by Johnny’s smear campaign designed to damage her career and reputation.
