Actor Johnny Depp, known for his roles in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie series and other films, made a surprise appearance at his friend and singer Jeff Beck’s concert held at the Royal Albert Hall in London, England, on May 29 and 30 (local time). The audience was thrilled.

According to E! News, Johnny performed a remake of John Lennon’s song “Isolation,” which he released with Jeff in 2020, as well as Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On” and Jimi Hendrix’s “Little He performed a cover of Jimi Hendrix’s “Little Wing”.

Fans were not told that Johnny would be performing, but it was long overdue for him to attend Jeff’s concert, “He was in town to fulfill a previously scheduled work obligation,” a source told E!News.

As many of you know, Johnny just finished a trial in which he sued his ex-wife, also an actor, Amber Heard, for defamation. Johnny sued Amber for $50 million in damages, claiming that Amber accused him of domestic violence in an op-ed she wrote for the Washington Post in 2018, in which she did not name him but identified herself as Johnny. Amber, on the other hand, is also suing Johnny for $100 million, claiming that she has been severely affected by the smear campaign he has set up to damage her career and reputation.

The trial, which lasted about a month and a half, reached its final argument on May 27 local time, after which the case went to the jury for deliberations. The verdict is scheduled to be announced on May 31 local time.
