Travis Barker, 46, the drummer of the American band Blink 182, was hospitalized for a serious case of pancreatitis. His wife Kourtney Kardashian (43) reported that he is returning to normal condition after the hospitalization.

A source close to Travis told “Us Weekly” that “Travis is recovering much better and was out of the house on July 4, spending a relaxing holiday at the beach with the kids.
Travis wrote on Instagram, “During an endoscopy, I unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube when I removed a very delicate small polyp that is usually handled by specialists. The result was life-threateningly severe pancreatitis,” she explained, but revealed that she is “doing much better now, thanks to intensive treatment, and I am very grateful.”
Kourtney, who had just married Travis in California on May 15 local time and also in Italy on May 22 that month, reflected on her husband’s illness, saying, “It was a scary and emotional week. She stated, “I felt it in my heart that health is the best thing and we take it for granted, but sometimes that can change in an aha moment,” and added, “I am deeply grateful to God for healing my husband, to those who prayed for him and for us, and to those who supported us with love and overwhelming support. The source said, “Travis is following his doctor’s orders and Kourtney is his wife who is doing everything she can to be there for him 100% and give him the best support she can.” Travis is also said to have said, “I’ll take it easy until he’s fully recovered.
