Jennifer Pamplona first underwent plastic surgery when she was 17 years old. At the time, the Kardashians were becoming famous, and Jennifer, who admired Kim Kardashian on TV, underwent more than 40 plastic surgeries over the next 12 years to look as close to her as possible. Jennifer’s transformation into a Kim look-alike began to attract attention from various media outlets and was even featured in The Post. She has over one million followers on Instagram, and it seemed as if she had achieved her ideal life, but she was somewhat unfulfilled.
In a recent interview with Caters, Jennifer said, “I realized I was a surgery addict. I wasn’t happy. I was putting fillers in my face like I was going grocery shopping,” she admitted. I was in a cycle where surgery equals fame and money, and I lost control of myself. I went through many difficult times.
After much distress, Jennifer learned that she had body dysmorphia, a condition that causes mental anguish due to minor appearance complexes. She wanted to return to her true self.
She found a doctor in Istanbul, Turkey, who could perform the “restoration surgery. The surgery was not inexpensive, and she had to fork out $120,000.
I had a face and neck lift, cheek removal, eyelids, lip lift, and rhinoplasty all at once,” Jennifer recalled, continuing, “When I walked out of the operating room, I was like a different person. Jennifer also said that she suffered from complications after the surgery, and that her cheeks did not stop bleeding for three days.
