She was successful in launching a fashion brand.

Ivana was found unconscious by paramedics, and the Associated Press reported that “police officials are investigating the death as an accidental fall down a flight of stairs,” according to a source.

Ivana was born in Gotvaldov, former Czechoslovakia (now Zlín, Czech Republic). A former skier, she became a model after moving to Canada because she disliked the then-communist state, and later moved to New York City.

She married Trump in 1977. They had three children, Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka, and Eric, but divorced in 1992 when they discovered that Trump was dating Marla Maples, who would eventually become his second wife. However, they continued their relationship as business partners. They went on to launch a successful fashion brand.

In his personal life, he has been married four times, the last partner being Rossano Rubicondi, an Italian actor 24 years his junior, whom he married in 2008 and divorced a year later (they continued their personal relationship). He died last October at the age of 49 after a battle with skin cancer.
