Actress Zendaya, known for her role as MJ in the “Spiderman” movie series, revealed that she was injured while cooking and had to have stitches for the first time in her life.
See, this is why I don’t cook.
Zendaya updated her Instagram story on July 13. It shows Zendaya’s index finger wrapped in bandages and a bit of smeared blood. She added, “See, that’s why I don’t cook,” to the photo, saying that she is not a good cook.

The wound seemed to be quite deep, and she later wrote, “Update,” and also posted a photo of the wound being stitched up by a doctor. Zendaya, however, seemed unconcerned, and in another post she wrote, “My finger, my first suture! Back to a state of no cooking for the rest of my life,” and posted a selfie of herself holding up her finger with a smile on her face.

Zendaya was recently nominated for the Best Actress in a Drama category at the 74th Emmy Awards ceremony to be held on September 13 for her drama “EUPHORIA” (available on U-NEXT in Japan).
She won the Best Actress Award in the Drama category for “EUPHORIA” at the 72nd Emmy Awards ceremony to be held in 2020. She was the youngest person ever nominated in this category, and with another nomination, she became the youngest person ever to receive a second nomination.
Zendaya was also nominated as a producer for the HBO series. She is also the youngest woman ever to be nominated for an Emmy Award in the Producer category.
