Airbnb, the world’s largest travel community platform (Headquarters: San Francisco, California, U.S.A.; hereinafter “Airbnb”), has announced a special accommodation plan at the pink-tinted “Malibu Dream House” featured in the movie “Barbie.
This summer, Barbie’s “Malibu Dream House” will be recreated on Airbnb, and Barbie’s boyfriend “Ken,” played by actor Ryan Gosling, will host the event for one night only.
Until now, Barbie has been everything to Ken. This time, Ken will fill part of Barbie’s “Malibu Dream House” with his favorites, including rollerblades. Guests will be able to immerse themselves in the world of Barbie and Ken in a pink-colored room that is the color of Barbie, as if they have stepped out of the movie world and into reality.
Ken said, “Everyone has dreams, and Barbie is happy to have a house full of dreams. But now it’s my turn. I can’t wait to entertain guests at my one and only, dare I say it, one and only Ken’s house.

About the stay
Located in sunny Malibu, the oceanfront mansion features panoramic views and is a picturesque paradise space. Guests can book Ken’s bedroom at the Malibu Dream House for one night each on July 21 and July 22, 2023, for a maximum of two people each for $0*. (Because Ken couldn’t figure out how to price Barbie’s Malibu Dream House!)
During their stay at the Malibu Dream House, guests will experience the following in their pink-colored room
Take a spin through Ken’s fabulous wardrobe and find the perfect beachwear for you. Not only will you get to see Barbie, but Ken’s closet as well!
Be a cowboy and line dance on Ken’s outdoor disco dance floor or play Sunset Serenade on Ken’s guitar.
Recreate the beach scene from the movie as you sunbathe and relax in the infinity pool.
Take home some of the goodies from Ken’s room, including a set of yellow and pink IMPALA rollerblades and surfboards.
How to reserve
Beginning July 17 at 10 a.m., anyone from anywhere in the world can sign up for an overnight experience to reserve Ken’s room at Barbie’s Malibu Dream House at airbnb.com/kendreamhouse. Transportation to and from Malibu is at your own expense.
