Usher discusses Justin Bieber’s recent situation.

Usher, a singer he admires as his mentor, revealed the current status of singer Justin Bieber, who announced this June that he has Ramsey Hunt Syndrome. Usher was one of the people who spotted Justin’s talent early on, and they still have a passionate relationship of trust more than 10 years after Justin’s debut.

Through a video uploaded to Instagram, Justin revealed that he had developed Ramsey Hunt Syndrome, and confessed that half of his face is paralyzed due to the effects of the disease. Currently, Justin is in the midst of a world tour, but in order to focus on treatment for his illness, all remaining North American tour dates scheduled for June-July have been canceled (postponed).

Usher, who recently enjoyed a vacation in Idaho with Justin and his wife, model Hailey Bieber, said of Justin’s condition during the vacation in an interview with Extra.

He (Justin) is doing well. I managed to make time to spend with him, and it was really nice to see him on vacation and realize that whatever situation he’s in now, he has the support of his fans and family.”

He continued, “As an artist, I think sometimes you go through things that people don’t understand. The life of a professional performer always comes with a lot of pressure. Justin is truly on an epic journey across the globe. I am happy to have been there at the beginning of his journey and to still be able to be friends with him.

It is not yet known when he will return to work, but his wife, Hailey, says he is on the road to recovery, and in fact, he was looking good on his vacation in Idaho.
