Keanu Reeves made a surprise appearance at the 2022 Comic-Con held in San Diego, USA, to the delight of the audience. Keanu’s appearance was not at a specific film or actors panel talk, but at the Directors on Directing panel talk. The moderator, the editor-in-chief of Collider, a U.S. entertainment media company, began by saying that he had a question from a man named “J. Utah.
When he said this, the audience outside the room asked, “What? I beg your pardon?” and a voice responded, “What? And then, with great enthusiasm, he walked up to the audience…Keanu!
The audience cheered at the unexpected appearance of Keanu. However, although his surprise appearance was apparently planned by the staff, there was no chair for him on stage, probably because he was scheduled to appear only briefly. So, one would have expected him to continue standing, but instead he joined the conversation kneeling on the ground next to his longtime friend and director of the “John Wick” movie, Chad Stahelski!
Keanu is famous as one of Hollywood’s most unpretentious and gentle actors, so much so that there are several “good-guy biographies” about him.

Keanu appeared with what looked like materials in his hands, as if he had really just left the conference for a bit. At this year’s Comic-Con, a surprise teaser trailer for the fourth “John Wick” film was released, and Keanu commented on the fact that the fourth film is set in various countries around the world.
The fourth film also stars Rina Sawayama, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Yoshinori Tashiro.

Keanu participated in the talk for only about two minutes, but even so, his personality and atmosphere were as expected of Keanu, who made the audience happy and dusty.
Incidentally, Keanu took time to appear at another panel talk held at a different time to talk about his comic book “BRZRKR” and the anime and live-action film based on it. The animation will be produced by Japanese animation studio Production I.G.
