To celebrate the opening of “Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo – Making of Harry Potter”, the first indoor Harry Potter facility in Asia, which opened on the former site of Toshimaen in Tokyo, a red carpet event was held on June 15 (Thu), the eve of the opening. … Ivana Lynch (Luna Lovegood), Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), and Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom), who appeared in the “Harry Potter” series, made a surprise appearance.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo – Making of Harry Potter” finally opened on Friday, June 16.

This is a new walk-through entertainment facility where visitors can experience the behind-the-scenes of movie production. There will be exhibits of the Hogwarts Great Hall, Diagon Alley, and Lines 9 and 3/4 that appeared frequently in the films, as well as a variety of fun activities such as riding a broom and sprinkling flue powder on visitors.

Matthew, who is visiting Japan for the third time, shared a story about how his life “changed” after coming to Japan. He said he hated sushi before coming to Japan and could not believe that his “Harry Potter” co-star Alfie (Alfred) Enoch (played by Dean Thomas) ate sushi every day.

However, after coming to Japan and discovering the deliciousness of raw fish, Matthew has become such a big fan of raw fish that he now eats sushi at least once a week. In fact, Matthew said at the event that night, “The first thing I did when I got off the plane last night was to go looking for some good sashimi.

Matthew also commented on the Studio Tour’s opening in Tokyo, saying, “I am delighted that ‘Harry Potter’ has found a home here in Tokyo,” and “It is because of the fans who have loved us for almost 20 years that we have been able to bring the Studio Tour here to Tokyo. Thank you for your wonderful support.

The grand opening of “Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo – The Making of Harry Potter” will be held on Friday, June 16.
