Angelina Jolie has won a court case over a winery she was fighting with her ex-husband Brad Pitt.
He just hasn’t gotten over his hatred for Angelina!
Actress Angelina Jolie and actor Brad Pitt jointly purchased land in Provence, France, in 2008 while they were dating and began making wine as Chateau Miraval in 2012. They produce three types of wine: red, white, and rosé, and their rosé is particularly well received, being named to Wine Spectator’s Top 100 list in 2013.
After the two divorced, they split their stake in half. They had agreed that they would always obtain the other party’s agreement before giving it away. However, Angelina sold her interest in the company to Stoli, a major brewing company, without Brad’s consent, and Brad filed a lawsuit against her.
Like the custody trial, this trial turned into a slog. While Jolie demanded various documents from Brad, his business manager, and Brad’s company, Mondo Bongo, Brad’s side was thoroughly fighting to have the court reject these demands.
Then, on Friday, July 22, the Los Angeles court ordered Brad’s side to turn over the documents requested by Angelina’s side.
A source close to Angelina told Page Six that her anger over Brad’s messy divorce drama is interfering with her general business sense.
A reasonable person would be happy to work with Stoli. He just hasn’t gotten over his hatred for Angelina,” the source said, adding, “They have top-notch distribution and marketing capabilities.
Angelina and Brad wed in 2014 at the Chateau Miraval, but divorced in 2016.
