We were in Atlanta and Netflix gave us a $20 budget.

Stranger Things” is a mystery-adventure drama series about a group of boys who confront a series of unexplained incidents in the small town of Hawkins. Season 4, which was just recently released, has been recognized as the most-watched English-language TV series in Netflix history.

On Monday, July 24, during the BBC’s popular “The One Show,” David said, “I remember when we were shooting the first season. We were in Atlanta and Netflix gave us a budget of $20,” he recalled.

He continued, “I remember when we were shooting about episode four, the hair guy came to me and said, ‘I don’t think it’s going to work,'” revealing that there were others besides David who were worried about whether the drama would work or not.

At the time, Netflix was producing a string of popular original productions such as “House of Cards: Stairway to Ambition” and “Orange is the New Black. Because of this, Netflix was able to take a chance on young creators like the Duffer Brothers, the creators of “Stranger Things.

However, “Stranger Things” became a worldwide hit after Season 1 was released in 2016. Season 2 and 3 sequels were produced one after another, and it has now become one of Netflix’s flagship productions.

At the end of the filming of Season 1, David revealed his true feelings, “I thought there would be no Season 2. He thought, “No one would watch it, and it would be a disaster,” but it seems that his prediction was surprisingly wrong.
