Both singers, Camila and Shawn were originally close friends and developed a romantic relationship after their second collaboration on ‘Senorita’ in 2019. The relationship seemed to be going well, with engagement rumours even popping up, but almost two years later, in November 2021, they revealed that they had broken up.
Many people are wondering whether they got back together or not, as they were in a pretty good mood at Coachella, with Camila sitting on Shawn’s lap.
‘There is a lot of love and history between Shawn and Camilla and they are still good friends. They kept in touch after they broke up, and when they found out they were both going to Coachella, they arranged to meet up. (The kiss) happened as the night went on and one thing led to another,” he said, denying the theory that they were back together.
Incidentally, another source told People that Shawn and Camilla have been in frequent contact for several months and that they have been “hanging out for a few months now and there always seemed to be a special connection between the two”.
