All Too Well: The Short Film,” a short film directed and written by popular American singer Taylor Swift, has qualified for a nomination for the 2023 Academy Awards, according to People magazine and others.

All Too Well: The Short Film” is a short film based on a 10-minute version of the classic song “All Too Well” from the re-recorded version of the album “Red (Taylor’s Version)” released last November 12.

Directed and written by Taylor himself, the “All Too Well” short film features appearances by Dylan O’Brien from the “Maze Runner” film series and Sadie Sink from the Netflix drama “Stranger Things: The Unknown. Taylor herself made a brief appearance in the film, which depicted a beautiful and sad love story.

 

According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, Taylor’s “All Too Well: The Short Film” has qualified for nomination in the short live-action film category at next year’s 95th Academy Awards ceremony. It is also reported that Taylor has already joined forces with a top consulting firm to guide the project’s awards campaign.

 

Note that “All Too Well” was originally a track from Taylor’s 2012 fourth album, “Red.” The song is famous and popular among fans because it is about actor Jake Gyllenhaal, with whom she was in a relationship for about five months from October 2010 to March 2011.
