Casey McKiston’s 2019 novel “Red, White & Royal Blue” was coveted for film rights by various movie distributors even before its release, with Amazon Studios ultimately winning the bid. After its release, it quickly became a best-selling hit.
The film version was written and directed by Tony Award-winning Matthew Lopez and stars Nicholas Galitzin (Cinderella) and Taylor Zahar Perez (What Starts with a Kiss)! Nicholas plays Prince Henry, a member of the British royal family, and Taylor plays Alex, whose mother is Ellen Claremont, the President of the United States.
Filming was recently completed, although details of when the film will be available on Amazon Prime Video have not yet been announced. So, Nicholas and Taylor have released videos and photos from the scene!
Before reporting the end of filming, Taylor also posted one video that is dusty. It seems that the two had a competition during the filming to see who was taller, and the original author, Casey, was seen adorably measuring them with a measuring tape as a referee.
