Olivia recently appeared in an interview with Variety magazine. Asked about reports that Harry Styles, a movie star and private eye, was paid three times as much as Florence Pugh, she commented, “There is absolutely no certainty to such claims.

She also expressed her feelings about that report, saying, “I was really upset by the absurd clickbait invented about the nonexistent pay disparity between lead and supporting actors, and the subsequent reaction,” adding, “I am a woman who has been in this industry for over 20 years, and it is something I have fought for myself and others, especially as a director.” She continued.

Olivia met Harry on the set of the film, and the two announced their romance in January 2021. Since then, there have been rumors of a falling out with Florence over Harry and Olivia’s relationship, but Olivia has praised Florence in a new interview.

Speaking about “Midsommar,” in which Florence appeared, she said, “I liked the movie, but I also liked her. I thought she was extraordinary. She is obviously the most exciting young actress working today.”
