Popular American singer Taylor Swift is actually a secret fan of K-pop girl group BLACKPINK! She was caught enjoying their new song “Pink Venom” in a flirtatious mood.

First U.S. performance of their new song “Pink Venom

 

On Monday, August 29 (Japan time), the MTV-sponsored music awards ceremony “2022 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA)” was held at the Prudential Center in New Jersey, USA. At the awards, Taylor won three awards, including Best Video.

 

BLACKPINK, a four-member group from South Korea, also performed live at the VMAs. In addition to serving as a presenter at the ceremony, they performed their new song “Pink Venom,” which was just released on August 19, for the first time in the United States.

In the video posted on Twitter, when it was announced that BLACKPINK would be singing “Pink Venom,” Taylor, who was sitting in the audience, exclaimed, “Yay! and overjoyed. Although “Pink Venom” has only been released less than two weeks ago, Taylor seemed to love the song and immediately got up and got into the groove throughout the performance. She seemed to enjoy BLACKPINK’s performance to the fullest, even singing the lyrics at times.
