In 2003, he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, a brain disorder.

Ozzy Osbourne, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, a brain disorder, in 2003 and has been battling the disease, announced that he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease Grade II after suffering a fall and injury in 2019.

Ozzy has revealed the physical and emotional challenges associated with the disease.

In an interview with The Observer, Ozzy said, “I can’t move my legs, even when I think I’m lifting them. It’s like walking around with lead boots on,” he said, revealing the pain of not being able to free his body.

Ozzy also admitted that he developed depression in 2020 after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

He said, “I couldn’t be as fit as I wanted to be. I don’t feel anything wonderful anymore. I have nothing. So I took this antidepressant, and it seems to be working.

Ozzy revealed that his wife, Sharon Osbourne, and daughter, Kelly Osbourne, have allowed him to continue performing despite his health struggles.

If it weren’t for Sharon, I’d be gone,” he said. We have little fights from time to time, but other than that we get along just fine.”

More recently, Ozzy said he is “fed up” with the U.S. and plans to return to England with Sharon.

Everything in America is ridiculous. I’m sick of people being killed every day. God knows how many people have been shot in school shootings.

There was speculation among fans that Ozzy’s return to his native England might be affected by Parkinson’s disease, but his wife Sharon revealed that it had nothing to do with his health.

‘I knew people would think that. But it’s not. It’s just that time has passed. America has changed so much. It’s not America anymore. Nothing is unified. It’s a very strange place to live right now.”
