Tom Cruise may be invited to Queen Elizabeth’s funeral, deep friendship with Prince William

American actor Tom Cruise (60) may be invited to the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II, who died on September 8.

Cruise appeared in an equestrian show held in Windsor Castle as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrating the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s accession to the throne in May this year. He hosted the event, which was broadcast live on British television, along with British actress Helen Mirren and British actor Damian Lewis.

Cruise has informed senior members of the royal family of his intention to attend the funeral, which is reported to be held on September 19, British media reported. Cruise was a close friend of Prince William and was reportedly seen escorting Princess Catherine on the red carpet at the premiere of “Top Gun Maverick,” the movie in which he starred, held in London in May.
