Popular singer Taylor Swift appeared on the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival’s “In Conversation” event in a gold sequined gown with an open back.
Taylor made her directorial debut with a short film inspired by her 2012 breakup song “All Too Well. She appeared at a conversation event moderated by TIFF CEO Cameron Bailey at the Toronto International Film Festival, where she talked about many things as a filmmaker.

Taylor hit the red carpet in a gold gown, and she was joined by Sadie Sink, known for her role as Max in “Stranger Things: The Unknown World,” one of the actors in the short film.
Taylor’s striking dress was adorned with a tight row of large gold sequins. She also wore smoky cat eye makeup to complete her elegant look. Sadie, on the other hand, looked chic in a red suit with one button and diagonal stripes. Her red hair was parted in the center and swept over her shoulders in thick waves.

The song “All Too Well” was a five-minute version of a song on the 2012 hit album Red, but Taylor originally wrote a 10-minute draft of the song with writer Liz Rose, who helped her edit it for the album. Fans believe the song was inspired by her brief relationship with actor Jake Gyllenhaal, whom she dated from October 2010 to January 2011.
The Hollywood Reporter revealed last month that Taylor’s short film was an Oscar contender for Best Live Action Short Film.
The film is also his directorial debut, as well as his writing and producing credits.
