Paul McCartney, formerly of The Beatles, visited his child Stella McCartney’s fashion show.
Stella McCartney held her first outdoor show.
Stella McCartney’s Spring 2023 Ready-to-Wear collection was held in front of the Centre Pompidou in France, which will be closed for renovation for approximately three years starting in 2023.
This was the brand’s first outdoor show, and items reminiscent of the chain tops that designer Stella McCartney presented during her time at Chloe, as well as items created in collaboration with Japanese artist Yoshitomo Nara, appeared on the runway. The collection was 87% made from sustainable materials, and Stella revealed to US Vogue, “This was the most sustainable show ever.
Stella McCartney’s father and former member of The Beatles, Paul McCartney, was also present at the memorable Stella McCartney show. Paul attended Stella’s show with his wife Nancy.
At the venue, Paul met Bernard Arnault, CEO of LVMH, Stella McCartney’s parent company, for the first time and appeared to hit it off with him.
And at the end of the show, there was a unique father-son moment. When Stella approached Paul and hugged him, he said, “I’m so happy for you. It was really good,” Paul said of the show, praising his daughter, Stella.

Paul has been to many of Stella’s shows in the past, but it is rare to witness a scene like this. It was a rare glimpse of Paul as a father, praising his daughter, who is still adorable no matter her age.
