Billie’s firm opposition to the anti-abortion law.

Last month, the U.S. state of Texas enacted a law banning abortion after the sixth week of pregnancy. Many women, especially female celebrities, have criticized the law because women themselves may not be aware of their pregnancies during the sixth week of pregnancy, and because the law also includes pregnancies resulting from rape and other forms of sexual violence.

In response to the enforcement of the anti-abortion law, Billie said at the time, “I really wish more men cared. I’m tired of it. It really makes me sick how many men don’t say anything about women’s rights,” she posted on social media. She revealed that she was fed up with the lack of men who were willing to protect women’s rights.

As the backlash grew more intense, with protests taking place across the U.S. last weekend, Billie performed at a music festival in Austin, Texas, the vortex of the situation. At the time, he confessed that at one point he had resisted performing at the festival. However, he explained the reason for his change of heart as follows.

When they passed that stupid law, I thought I was going to quit the show. I wanted to punish this shithole for allowing that law. But then I remembered that you are the victims [of state laws] and you deserve all the rights in the world.”

She then went on to call out to the audience, “We need to tell them to shut the fuck up! ” and raising her middle finger and shouting, “I decide what happens to my body! Billie showed her firm opposition to the anti-abortion law. Hopefully, the calls of these influential celebrities will help to turn things around.
