Niall Horan, a member of the popular British boy group One Direction and currently active as a solo singer, will be the new coach of “The Voice” (2011-), a popular music audition show in the United States. Variety magazine and other news outlets have reported the news.

Niall will be the new coach of “The Voice” Season 23, which is currently airing on NBC in the U.S. In Season 22, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, John Legend, and Camila Cabello are the four coaches.

 

In season 23, Kelly Clarkson, who coached from season 14 to 21, will return, while Blake, who coached for more than a decade from season 1 to 22, will leave the show after season 23.

 

Season 23 of “The Voice” is scheduled to air next spring, and in addition to the aforementioned Niall, Blake, and Kelly, hip-hop artist Chance the Rapper will also be coaching the show to discover new stars.
