Jack Sweeney, who operated an account that tracked U.S. Twitter Chairman Elon Musk’s private jet in real time, has opened an account and begun posting on Threads, a new social networking site (SNS) launched by Meta.
Twitter had frozen Mr. Sweeney’s account last December.
The name of the account on Threds is “elonmusksjet,” and he first posted on July 6, “ElonJet has arrived at Threds.” As of the morning of July 8, he had 21,000 followers.
The account uses public data to track the movements of Musk’s private jet.
