The marriage of King Charles (then Crown Prince) and Princess Diana was apparently so “dangerous” that a full-time royal guard feared that someone might be seriously injured someday.

He replied, “I don’t know, maybe I’m gay.”

This is what royal family writer Christopher Andersen revealed in his latest book, The King: The Life of Charles III. In his book, Christopher Andersen wrote that one of the King’s attendants told him that he had seen Princess Diana mocking him for his trivial attachment to her husband, wife Camilla.

The valet said that at Highgrove House, King Charles’ villa, Princess Diana “literally followed the King around” in the hallways, on the stairs, and from room to room.

After the birth of her second child, Prince Henry, in 1984, Princess Diana would press King Charles, asking, “Why won’t you sleep with me?” She had unilaterally rejected their marriage at the time. King Charles, who at the time was unilaterally rejecting their marriage, is said to have replied, “I don’t know, maybe I’m gay,” when asked by Princess Diana.

During a heated argument between the two men, King Charles said, “You know who I am, don’t you? Do you know who I am? to which Diana, Princess of Wales, replied, “You will never be king. William will succeed your mother (Queen Elizabeth). I will see it with my own eyes,” she declared.

In his book, the bodyguard at the time recalled the graphic clash between the two, saying, “I knew violence was inevitable.

In this book, the full-time royal guard said that the Highgrove House was equipped with firearms, including shotguns, rifles, and pistols, and that as their fight escalated, “in anger, one of these could be used to commit suicide, murder, or both” by the two men. It is also revealed that he was deeply concerned.
