He was very excited about raising awareness about mental health

Following Aaron’s tragic death, “Group” writer and director Brian Farmer released a statement about Aaron’s final project, which is currently in post-production.

In a statement, Farmer wrote, “Aaron was very excited about this show and about bringing more attention to mental health, a subject he was very passionate about.” ‘He said being a part of this program gave him something positive to work on. I will cherish that forever,” he continued.

The pilot also features Sam Levine of “Freaks Academy” as well as Mike Starr of “Goodfellas” and others.

Aaron was found dead in the bathtub of his home on November 5, local time. The first person to find him was his housekeeper. Police sources told TMZ that there were cans of prescription drugs and compressed air in his bathroom.

The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office said it will await the results of toxicology tests to determine the cause of death.

Aaron was a child star who hit it big in the early 2000s, but as an adult he revealed a drug addiction and other problems. His older brother Nick is a member of the hugely popular boy group Backstreet Boys.

Aaron has a fiancée, Melanie, with whom he has been going through breakups and getting back together, and they shared an 11-month-old son, Prince. Melanie said, “My heart is completely devastated by the loss of my fiancé, Aaron. I knew he was suffering and I have tried everything to help him.”
