Prince Harry has revealed the exchange between Princess Meghan and Princess Catherine.
The email was regarding the bridesmaids’ dresses to be worn by Princess Charlotte.
Prince Harry’s memoir, Spare, was released on Tuesday, January 10. In it, an email exchange between Meghan and Catherine that was exchanged a few days before Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding, which took place in 2018, was made public.
Princess Charlotte’s mother, Catherine, told Meghan that the dress made for her daughter, who would be a bridesmaid, did not fit.
However, Princess Meghan was unable to reply immediately due to the confusion surrounding her father’s scandal at the time. The next morning, she replied, “A tailor is waiting at Kensington Palace.
‘Charlotte’s dress is too big, too long, too fugly. She tried it on at home and cried,” complained Princess Catherine, to which he replied, “All right. I told you that the tailor is waiting at Kensington Palace. Can you bring Charlotte in and do the tailoring for me? The exchange was exchanged with Meghan replying, “The other mothers are doing the same thing.
However, Princess Catherine’s reply was that she would consult with her dress designer as well and have it made from scratch. At that time, the wedding was only four days away.
Therefore, Meghan reminded Princess Charlotte to bring her to Kensington Palace, and Catherine agreed.
Princess Meghan was said to have been so distressed by the exchange that when Prince Harry came home, she was on the floor crying.
Prince Harry said, “I was horrified to see her so upset. I had no idea it had been such a catastrophe. The stress was at its maximum because of the turmoil that has been going on for the past few months. But it was only temporary, and I told Meghan that Princess Catherine had no intention of hurting Meghan,” he recalled.
There was initially a flurry of information about Princess Catherine and Meghan, with some reports saying that Catherine had cried.
