Singer Aaron Carter, who died earlier this month at the age of 34, has been cremated.

According to the death certificate obtained by ET magazine, Aaron Carter was recently cremated and his twin sister, Angel Carter, is taking care of his ashes until his funeral. Note that the cause of death on this certificate is listed as “pending” and it is not yet known why he died.

Aaron Carter was found dead in the bathtub of his home on November 5, local time, at the age of 34. Gary Madatian, who was a close friend of Aaron’s, previously told ET magazine in an interview that he and Aaron’s ex-fiancee, Melanie Martin, went to the room where Aaron lived after Aaron was found dead.

Gary said, “When we arrived at the scene, the house was completely sealed off. The police were investigating, and Aaron’s body was still inside the house,” he said of his immediate arrival.

After the body was removed, “only a few people” were allowed into the house, Gary and Melanie said. Gary said he “wanted to see if there was blood or alcohol or anything in the house,” and they went to look in the bedroom, which he said was “normal.

Next, Gary said he saw the bathroom where Aaron had died. He said, “There was water in the tub. It was a yellowish color,” he said.

He also saw an aerosol can in Aaron’s house. Gary speculated that Aaron may have been smoking the aerosol can.

Furthermore, according to various media outlets, he left no will or testament and the fate of his estate is in the hands of the State of California.
