Popular actress Cameron Diaz, who announced four years ago that she was quitting acting, was photographed for the first time on a movie set in London.

Cameron appeared on the London set of her comeback film, Netflix’s “Back in Action.”

She looked fabulous in a red shawl as she got to work with longtime friends and co-stars Jamie Foxx and Glenn Close on Thursday night (December 22) local time.

Speaking of Cameron, she had officially announced that she was quitting acting in 2018 so that she could devote more time to herself and husband Benji Madden, 43. A year later, in December 2019, she welcomed daughter Radix, 3, and said she “can’t imagine” embarking on a 14-hour shoot without her child.

Little is known about the action-comedy “Back in Action,” which will be directed by Seth Gordon, known for his work on “Monster Boss.” Glenn was seen filming a scene with the two on the Thames River, while Jamie was wrapped in a bright red blanket.

Two speedboats were seen speeding down the river during the filming, and an ambulance was seen on the sealed off set. Cameron and Jamie had their arms around two child actors, a boy and a girl.

Speaking about his return, Cameron said on the popular talk show “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” “My last film was ‘Annie’ with Jamie, and my first film back was this one with Jamie. He is so wonderful, so easygoing, so professional, so talented, and such a pleasure to work with. Expect more news on “Back in Action” in the future.
