A TikTok video of one Christmas gift has gone viral.
A parent managed to get tickets to Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” and decided to give them to her daughter for Christmas.
But when the daughter opens the Christmas present, she says, “Oh, Taylor Swift. Hmmm, I’m not a big fan,” she is shown disappointed.
In early November, Taylor Swift announced that she would be heading out on a U.S. tour titled “The Eras Tour,” which will take her to stadiums across the U.S. from March to August 2023, with 52 shows announced at this time, but after the U.S. tour, the tour will reportedly travel around the world.
When the tickets went on sale on November 15, the Ticketmaster website, which is in charge of ticket sales, was flooded with 3.5 billion hits. The server that was supposed to have been prepared for the event was flattened, causing many fans to wait for a long time before reaching the site and resulting in a situation where they were unable to purchase tickets, infuriating fans.
Many fans reported problems purchasing tickets and blamed Ticketmaster online. Taylor Swift herself spoke out about the fiasco, and the Department of Justice announced that it would launch an investigation to determine whether the company had a monopoly on the industry.
Many Taylor fans commented on this video, in which they are disappointed to see such hard-to-obtain Taylor tickets, and are trying to get those tickets sold to them.
Some of the comments included, “Please sell me those tickets,” and “I’ll give you anything if you can sell me those tickets.”
