The people are shouting “Shame on you! Shame on you!

The Sun, a British newspaper, published a column against Princess Meghan by Jeremy Clarkson, who hates her on a “cellular” level, on December 17. As soon as the column was published, social networking sites were ablaze, and the IPSO, a self-regulatory organization of the British newspaper and publishing industry, received more than 20,000 complaints.

Jeremy, famous for his tongue, has written columns for the controversial “The Sun” and “The Sunday Times,” hosted the BBC’s car show “Top Gear” for many years, and appeared on ITV’s quiz show “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? He is also a presenter on ITV’s quiz show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?

On December 23, about a week after publishing Jeremy’s column, The Sun issued the following apology on its website.

The columnist’s opinions are his own, but as a publisher we recognize that with freedom of expression comes responsibility. We at The Sun regret the publication of this article and sincerely apologize.”

In response to The Sun’s apology, a spokesperson for Meghan and Prince Henry issued a joint statement with the Press Association, a British and Irish news agency, on March 24.

The Sun has not even contacted Meghan to apologize. This fact clearly shows that it is nothing more than a promotional campaign.

The Sun has continued to profit by exploiting hatred, violence, and misogyny.

A true apology would be a review of the ethical standards of their reporting. Unfortunately, we don’t expect it.”

The Sun apologized for publishing the column, but did not apologize to Meghan herself. Jeremy, the author of the column, has also not confirmed an apology to Meghan at this time.

Jeremy wrote on his Twitter account, “I inadvertently quoted a scene from the US TV drama “Game of Thrones” (the scene in which Cersei Lannister, played by Lena Headey, leaves the church completely naked and walks through the streets) and made a great many people feel bad about it. I am appalled that I have hurt so many people and will be more careful in the future,” he stated.

Jamie’s column in question, which has already been deleted, was filled with hatred for Meghan, whom he had never met.

I hate Meghan on a cellular level. At night I can’t sleep. I lie there with clenched teeth, dreaming that one day Meghan will be marched naked through every town and village in England. The people shout, ‘Shame on you! ‘ and throw a load of excrement at her.”

Jeremy adds, “Everyone of my generation thinks the same way.
