The family home of world-renowned singer Billie Eilish was burglarized, Page Six and other news outlets reported.
According to reports, on Thursday, January 5, local time, LAPD officers responded to a call at approximately 9:15 p.m. in the Highland Park area of Los Angeles.
The property they responded to was owned by Billie’s parents Maggie Baird and Patrick O’Connell.
At this time, it is unknown if anything was stolen. According to several reports, the suspect was taken into custody. Video footage of the suspect’s arrest showed the man handcuffed and restrained by at least three LAPD officers.
ABC7 correspondent Chris Christie, who published an aerial photo of the home on Twitter, said LAPD burglary detectives are investigating the case. According to Christie, the suspect man jumped over the property fence.

No injuries from the incident had been reported as of late Thursday.
Billie and his brother Phineas, a producer, grew up in the house, and their parents still own it. Billie previously told Forbes that he still lives in the family home despite amassing a net worth of $53 million. His brother Phineas also previously revealed that their parents sleep on a futon in the living room so that he and Billie can have their own bedrooms.
The property is also known for the fact that Billie and Phineas set up a makeshift recording studio in their bedroom and recorded most of their debut album.
I wonder if Billie and Phineas’ possessions and other items were safe…
