Singer Rihanna, who is pregnant with her second child, performed at the 95th Academy Awards ceremony.

At the ’95th Academy Awards ceremony’ held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, USA, on 12 March (Sunday *local time), Rihanna performed the Best Song nominated song ‘Lift Me Up’ (theme song to the Marvel film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever). The audience gave her a standing ovation for her heartfelt performance, which clearly conveyed her feelings for the late Chadwick Boseman (who played Black Panther).

Watching Rihanna’s performance warmly from the front row was Asap Rocky, and although they did not appear together on the champagne carpet before the awards ceremony, Asap raised his glass to her as if to praise her for her wonderful performance. Rihanna was the first to raise a glass to her.

The 95th Academy Awards Ceremony was held in Tokyo, Japan, and the film ‘Everything Everywhere at Once’ won in a total of seven categories, including Best Picture. The Best Song award was also given to ‘Naatu Naatu’ (Indian film RRR).
