Taylor Swift’s “Anti Hero” returned to the top spot on this week’s U.S. Billboard Songs Chart, spending a total of seven weeks at the top.
Taylor Swift’s “Anti-Hero” rose to No. 1 from No. 8 last week to mark its seventh week at the top of the chart overall.
The eight holiday songs in last week’s Top 10 were wiped out by this week’s post-Christmas tally period of December 30, 2022-January 5, 2023, with all of the following songs rising or entering the Top 10.
Taylor Swift’s “Anti-Hero,” which had been down for six weeks after its first appearance (November 5, 2022), pushed down by holiday songs, rose to No. 1 from No. 8 last week to mark its seventh week at No. 1 overall.
It is the first time in nearly eight years that a song has spent more than seven weeks at the top of the Hot 100 since “Blank Space,” which marked the same seven-week mark in 2014-15, tying its own longest run.

Anti-Hero” earns its third week atop the airplay chart with 83.8 million airplays (up 4%), 17.2 million streams (up 2%) and 6,000 sales (down 1%) during this week’s tally. It moved back up from #2 to #1 on the Digital Song Sales Chart and jumped from #37 to #4 on the Streaming Songs Chart.
Sam Smith & Kim Petras’ “Unholy” followed at No. 2, climbing from No. 10 last week, and Siza’s “Kill Bill” re-entered the Top 10 at No. 3, up from No. 11.
Despite the fact that the music video for “Kill Bill” has not yet been released, the song is performing well, and has topped the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart and the R&B Songs Chart for four consecutive weeks since its first appearance. The new album “SOS,” which includes the song, also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart for four weeks in a row.
At No. 4, David Guetta & Beebe Lexa’s “I’m Good (Blue),” which was at No. 19 last week, rose to the Top 5 and the highest position on the chart. This is Beebe Lexa’s second Top 5 song in nearly five years, since “Ment to Be with Florida Georgia Line,” which reached a high of #2 in 2018, and David Guetta’s fourth song to enter the Top 5, following.

I’m Good (Blue)” samples the Italian dance trio-Eiffel 65’s “Blue (Da Ba Di),” surpassing the highest No. 6 position the original song reached in 2000, and also indirectly breaking its previous high.
Next at No. 5 is Drake & 21 Savage’s “Rich Flex,” which jumps from No. 21 last week to enter the Top 5 for the first time in almost a month. It has held the No. 1 spot on the Rap Songs chart for eight consecutive weeks. The song has spent three consecutive weeks at No. 2 on the Hot 100 since November, but has not reached the top spot at this time.
At No. 6 is Metro Boomin”s “Creepin’ with The Weeknd & 21 Savage,” up from No. 22 last week, and Harry Styles’ “As It Was” jumps up from No. 31 to No. 7. The former debuted at No. 5 on Dec. 17, 2022, while the latter spent a total of 15 weeks at the top (No. 4 all-time) between April and October of last year.
The Weeknd’s “Die for You,” which rose to No. 8 from No. 26 last week, is a song from his third album Starboy, released in 2016, but has gradually climbed the charts in recent years, sparked by a viral hit on TikTok, to enter the Top 10 this week after more than six years.
This is The Weeknd’s 16th song to enter the Top 10 (6 of them at #1), following the aforementioned “Creepin’,” and his third song from the album “Starboy” following “Starboy feat. Daft Punk” (#1 in 2017) and “I Feel It Coming feat. This is the third song from “Starboy” to make the list, following “I Feel It Coming feat.
Die for You” rose 10% to 9.9 million streams during this week’s tally and held onto the No. 4 spot on the airplay chart with 67.3 million airplays (+3%).
Steve Lacy’s “Bad Habit” rises to No. 9 from No. 30 last week to claim its 20th week atop the Rock & Alternative Songs, Rock Songs, and Alternative Songs charts, respectively.
Next at No. 10 is Beyonce’s “Cuff It,” which rises from No. 38 last week to become the 21st song in the Top 10 overall. During this week’s tally, airplay increased to 55.8 million (up 4%), streaming to 8.3 million (up 22%), and sales to 3,000 (up 16%).
From the seventh album Renaissance, which includes the song, “Break My Soul,” the lead single, “Cuff It” is the second song from the album to reach the Top 10, after “Break My Soul” spent two weeks at the top from August 13-20, 2022. The last time two or more songs from the same album reached the Top 10 was in 2008-09, when “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” (#1), “Halo” (#5), “If I Were a Boy” (#3), and “Sweet Dreams” (#10) produced four 3 This is the first time since their third album “I Am…Sasha Fierce” that they have produced four songs, “If I Were A Boy” (No. 3), “Sweet Dreams” (No. 10).
Note that Destiny’s Child had 10 songs in the Top 10 between 1998 and 2005, and when the aforementioned “Break My Soul” reached the top spot, they had 20 songs as a solo act and 10 songs as a group, for a total of 30 songs on the list. This record is second only to Paul McCartney, who had 23 songs as a solo artist (including under the name Wings) and 34 songs as The Beatles, for a total of 57 songs, and Michael Jackson, who had 30 songs as a solo artist and 11 songs as the Jackson 5 (including under the name Jacksons), for a total of 41 songs. This is the most by a female artist. In the opposite pattern, The Supremes have 20 songs in the Top 10 as a group, including six under the name Diana Ross & The Supremes, and Ross has 12 songs in the Top 10 as a solo artist.
